Warranty Information

1. Who may use this warranty?

AmeriQuartz Texas, LLC (“AmeriQuartz”) extends this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the product (hereinafter, “You”). It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product. You acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to all terms and conditions of this warranty before ordering any AmeriQuartz surface material. This limited warranty applies only to materials that have been paid in full.

2. What does the warranty cover?

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing of quartz product which has been permanently installed in a residence (the “Product”) for the Warranty Period, as defined below, and which was supplied by AmeriQuartz. The term “Product,” and the scope of this limited warranty, does not include quartz product installed in a commercial space or in an outdoor space.

3. What does this warranty not cover?

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to:

1. Transportation.
2. Storage.
3. Improper or abnormal use.
4. Failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance.
5. Modifications.
6. Unauthorized repair.
7. Normal wear and tear, temporary marks including, but not limited to, any fingerprints, cup stains or any other stains/marks.
8. External causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond the reasonable control of AmeriQuartz. As used herein, “improper or abnormal use” includes, but is not limited to, cracks that occur from thermal shock from the use of hot pots, skillets or other hot items placed directly on the Product; damages from exposure to ultraviolet light or damaging chemicals, including acid; chipping, cracking, scratches, impact damages or breakings; Products which have been milled or reduced in thickness; and damages due to altering of any factory-applied finish.
9. Weather conditions that are out of the ordinary limitations of the products. Direct and constant exposure to the sun may cause differences in the appearance of the material and therefore should be avoided.
10. Flooring, or products installed in boats, ships, recreational vehicles, steam rooms and/or indoor pools.
11. Special finishes (including honed, leather, eggshell or brushed finishes).
12. Quartz surfaces are produced from natural quartz aggregates adhered with polyester resin with color powder. Thus, there might be some issues originating from the materials’ properties such as small spots, abnormal particle distribution or light discoloration on the surfaces. These do not affect the structure or integrity of the material and are not considered a manufacturing defect or material failure. Hence they are not covered by this warranty.

4. How do you obtain warranty service?

You must contact AmeriQuartz within a reasonable time of discovering the defect during the Warranty Period, by telephone, email, or mail. Email and postal claims must include all relevant information regarding the defect, as well as the original invoice or sales receipt.

5. What is the period of coverage?

This limited warranty starts on the date of Your purchase and continues for fifteen years. The Warranty Period is not extended or restarted if AmeriQuartz repairs or replaces the Product. AmeriQuartz may change the availability of this limited warranty at its discretion, but changes will not be retroactive. Manufacturing defects must be reported within 30 days.

6. What are your remedies under this warranty?

AmeriQuartz will decide whether to repair or replace the material. If the Product is no longer available, AmeriQuartz will replace it with one of similar characteristics. Exact color, consistency and shade may vary from slab to slab, and the replacement may not exactly match the originally installed material.
